Why, the apple. It's a long story.

I like this a lot but if you're looking for a more critical comment (You said you were in the forums)... It looks like there's a line or something on the right hand 1/3 of the picture where the colors on the tree are a lot darker than in the rest of the phota, that's slightly distracting.

Impressive shot. Not a lot to critique here, but the dust and scratches, and fingerprints on the shot aren't doing it any favours. Some post-processing would get rid of these flaws. I feel the contrast is a little too high on this shot - the highlight on the apple is a bit glaring, and the hands are either very dark or near-white. I think that the shot as a whole would benefit if there werent buildings in the background as they distract from the otherwise organic sense of the shot. But that's not a big issue really. The bright sky in the top left is really beneficial to the piece as it sets up the lighting, and looking at the hands and apple really shows the benefit of this.

Thanks! Yey for critisism! The reason for this line is a very dirty window. There was no way for me to open it when taking the photo so the 'blur' becomes irrationell.

Ah, okay. And, you're welcome.
